Is your 6 GB's of free HDD space spread over multiple drives or just in one drive? According to EB... and GS..., U2 requires 3.0 GB. |

Nope. Forgot to mention I didn't partition my HD, so everything's one one HD. |

*shakes head* When I was a boy...640k was more than enough for anyone. 6gig will be more than enough, then. |

But will it mess with my comp's performance?? I'm afraid it my screw up my DV project (I'm working in Premiere). Does anyone play games and do video editing with the same comp? |

In tsumake's case, do you think it's a good idea to defrag? [*]38 GB HDD all in one drive [*]20+ GB used for a DV film he's making |

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I think I will get U2. I used diskeeper, which is an awesome defrag program. I highly recommend it. |

if you have probs, you can always get another 40 GB hard drive, + an IDE card, for around $60 or so. |

That sounds great, except that I have a laptop. |

i hope for the sake of your eyes that you have a proper monitor this also shows why i personally prefer consoles for games over pc's |

As always, the easy alternative is simply forgotten here: Back up stuff you don't need right now to CDRs. |
