At what speed should I burn Satrun CDs?

I have a TDK 52x CD-RW drive and I think its one of the best recorders out there. I heard that I should burn Saturn games at 1x, my drives lowest speed is 4x, but even games that I've burned at 52X work fine on the Saturn although I've burned most of my games at 4x? So what should I do, should I burn my games at my friends slow CD-R at 1x or will 4x do fine?

I do 4x on my Yamaha 20x10x40.

Saturn's CD drive is very forgiving, for the most part - you could probably get away with a full 20x with no problems.

Now, PSX games OTOH... no more than 4x or you're going to regret it...

If you have the time, go with 4x or 8x.

What if you burn a Saturn game at 24x then make a copy of that at 4x?

It would depend on whether the copy that was burnt at 24x had any problems or not.

hey so 4x will work fine, right?

There's only one sure way to find out.

No, you're wrong. My 24X TDK velocd is the best!

If I ever upgraded my burner it's going to be a TDK! I think they have a DVD burner for about $299 US. I wonder if it's any good?

The 24X CDRW has never burned a coaster, and all of the CDs are perfect in every drive I play them in! I even burn SegaCDs at 24X with no problem at all!
