Here is another tool for patching Saturn images.

Works only in Windows with the .net framework v1.1 installed (sorry for that).

It is on beta test but I didn't notice any bugs after testing it a lot.

I developped it just for fun and I want to share it with you.

I think the .net framework is scaring some people off. I know it is for me.

Does mono on linux work yet? I don't even thing it's out yet.

Unfortunately this framework is about to be a standard as every visual studio application needs it ...

Saturnin needs it also btw

And I don't know what mono is ...

Only if you compile for CLR.

Saturnin needs .NET?

It seems to work for me on computers that don't have the Framework installed.

Weird...

Can you explain this a bit more ? I'm interested

(Maybe I'm already compiling it that way ... )

Well, it would be more correct to say that you don't need the .NET framework if you don't use any of its services, including the class library, eg. Windows Forms. IIRC when you start a new project/solution in VS2003 it is by default set up to link against some .NET libraries, but once you remove them there should be no .NET dependencies.

So maybe the .NET framework isn't needed after all ... the project was started under VC++ 6, then migrated to VS2000 and finally to VS2003

Madroms, maybe you have a way to get rid of it
