try mal's cuesheet I've never had troubles with it, and have already burned many games following that "blank" cue |
Jaded God | Jul 11, 2003 | |||
ok I'll try it |
Jaded God | Jul 12, 2003 | ||||
Well hmm This is what I came out with using Mal's universal dual track cue
Yet I get this error in CDRWIN.. "Error: Invalid CUE SHEET command at line 8 WAVE File is invalid or not CDROM compatible" All of my wav files are fine.. Don't know what is up. :huh Also note that my second iso track is 2352 and not 2336 like Mal's cue sheet. |

I didn't know I'd written a 'universal dual track cuesheet'. Are the wav files 16 bit, 44.1KHz? I'm just wondering what could make them "not CDROM compatible". |
IBarracudaI | Jul 12, 2003
Yes you have Jaded God: As mal said, maybe your wav files are not at the cdda standard. 16bit 44khz, are you pre-converting mp3->wav? You could use the original format used in that rip. cdrwin handles MP3 files directly |
Jaded God | Jul 12, 2003 | |||
Hmm well here is the thing guys... I always convert my mp3's >>to>> wav before burning games. I have never, ever had a problem with that... I use Winamp and have been for years. Nero would work just fine this way <_< Anyways I took a look at one of my wavs and this is what I get "001_Gradius Deluxe T02 Audio 2352" Bit Rate: 705kbps Audio sample size: 16 bit Channels: 2 (stereo) Audio sample rate: 22 kHz Audio format: PCM That is odd... Audio sample rate = 22kHz... Why is this??? That is for Gradius Deluxe which I am also having the same errors, and I just checked Game Paradise wav's and they are the exact same info on them. :huh |
Jaded God | Jul 12, 2003 | |||
Well I checked the original mp3 files and they are in 22kHz to begin with!!! |
IBarracudaI | Jul 12, 2003
search for audio converting tools, most of them can convert sampling rates. |
Jaded God | Jul 12, 2003 | |||
Yea but I don't want to have to do this.. What is up?? Do I have bad rips since they arent 44kHz.. I dont want to always have to do this. |
IBarracudaI | Jul 12, 2003
The rip is going to work.. only that audiotracks won't be so good as if they were encoded to mp3 with better quality... Anyways, here is a simple prog that will do the trick Awave Audio... |
Jaded God | Jul 12, 2003 | |||
Well I know I have burned heaps of saturn games with NERO and I know I probably have had these same audio rips with 22kHz instead of 44kHz... So does NERO just ignore the error??? |
IBarracudaI | Jul 12, 2003
It's NOT an error... What happens is that CDDA tracks have to be in 16bit 44.1khz.. Probably nero always converts the mp3's to 44.1khz without prompt. CDRWin doesn't... |
Jaded God | Jul 12, 2003 | |||
no no no... Please listen Barracuda before you reply lol I ALWAYS CONVERT MP3 TO WAV BEFORE BURNING SATURN GAMES... So when I used NERO they were WAV already hence no converting is happening... And I meant ERROR because CDRWIN calls it an error... Also does CDRWIN allow you to just use mp3s.. does it convert to wav like nero would? You said something above about that.. But I DONT think it does. :huh |
IBarracudaI | Jul 12, 2003
lol, okee i misunderstood you probably nero even re-converts wav files.. to the correct sample rate.. And yes, cdrwin converts MP3 on-the-fly, but it doesn't convert sample rates to 44khz.. from cdrwin's help: Note: For audio discs, you can load either WAVE, AIFF, or MP3 files into the list. MP3 files will be automatically decoded during recording, so there is no need to decode them beforehand. |
Jaded God | Jul 12, 2003 | |||
hmm but if I try and load it with the mp3s that are 22kHz also will I get the same error message? |
IBarracudaI | Jul 12, 2003
yes.. if nero doesn't works... you have to use that tool and resample it to 44.1khz |
Jaded God | Jul 12, 2003 | |||
Ok I converted everything to 44100 kHz *44kHz* and the cuesheet loads up fine in CDRWIN but then when I hit record I get this... |
Jaded God | Jul 14, 2003 | |||
:bump: |
IBarracudaI | Jul 15, 2003
Cuesheet rejected? There *only* one thing left... ISO2RAW... Use this program to convert the first datatrack which is at mode1 2048 to mode1 2352, this way all the track will have the same sector size. Correct the cuesheet so that track1 is loaded in mode1/2352 and give it a try... |
