32X Magnetic Plates ???

		I recently got my hands on a used 32X which came with the Cable .. but no Magnetic plates?? What exactley are these ?? Do I need them ?? Can I reproduce them ?? Any help would be appriciated ... Oh and no I kan't spell !! :huh

		They're not magnetic. They're just little metal plates that sit in the cart slot (of the Genesis) and act as RF shields. And no, you don't need them.

		have already installed 32x´s on: genesis and megadrive 1 genesis and megadrive 2 cdx so far i haven´t dropped in those "magnetic shields" and all systems work fine by the way nice first post :thumbs-up:

		Sweet ... Thanks Guys ... I guess the only problem I am having is an incompatible Ver 1 Genesis with the 32x unit ... I have 2 version 2 .. although they are all scratched to h3ll they still work ... I'll redo the setup with one of those units ... as I get no video what so ever ... I do get sound ... and alittle text ( in black and white ) ... I'll let you know how I make out !!! :banana
