WHDload will do what you're looking to do. See http://whdload.de... ... well worth the registration fee for the program, although of course if you don't have a harddrive it won't help you. There are other programs that will let you rekick into 1.3 and run it from floppy... try 'tude' from Aminet, that's what I used to use. 3.1 can easily be installed in an A2000... it's just a matter of buying the ROM chips and seating them. There are also a bunch of 68030 boards available for the A2000. However, there is no way to upgrade an ECS Amiga to the AGA chipset. |

My setup: A4000 25MHz 68040 / 16MB Fast / 2MB Chip / KS 3.0 2 small IDE drives (100 or 200 MB or so) GVP Impact Series II 2000 HC+8 2GB Quantum Fireball attached to said controller GVP Impact Vision 24 (currently used only as a scandoubler) Unfortunately, this isn't the A4000 version so it doesn't support the full AGA colorspace Matay Prometheus w/ Voodoo 3 3000 and Realtek 8029 Ethernet |
