Was a blacklist released ? and where (if it exists) ? |

I don't know. Buy me a 360 when it comes out though, I'm poor. |

My understanding is that the emulation work is being done initially on a rather game-specific basis, but they want to broaden it to at least include all of the "hits". In the beginning I think it's more likely that you will see a whitelist shortly before launch. |

Here you go guys. The Xbox 360 compatibility list:
The orginal list can be found here.... Some of the games on the list arnt even top 100 list. Like Barbie Horse Adventure, Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, and Catwoman. But great games like Burnout 3, Burnout Revenge, and the Splinter Cell series didnt make it. I wonder why? |

Maybe cause burnout was programmed with Renderware? can't speak for splinter cell though |

So was Sonic Heroes. It's probably mostly QA and testing at this point.. my guess is that more games would run fine, but MS hasn't tested them yet and so they're not certified. |

Thanks for the list Link343 :cheers Unfortunatly there are neither Panzer Dragoon Orta nor Outrun 2. I'll verify very often this list to see if it's updated. |

Im sure microsoft will continue improving the software emulator to play more games. |

So far, none of the x-box games I care about have compatibility. MS has indicated they would like 100% compatibility. |

I'm tempted to pick up the 360 just for backward compatibility. Every game I own except Mechassault, and Jet Set Radio Future works on the thing. I hate both Xbox controllers, but the 360 controller is even better than the GameCube controller. I'm not even interested in any of the launch games. I just want to play my Xbox games with a comfortable controller. |
