Yeesh, I'm asking so many questions. I accidentally deleted the file "wowexec.exe", thinking it was spyware. It turns out that I need this file to run 16-bit applications on XP. Does anyone know where I could find a copy of this file on the net, or would someone be kind enough to send me it? It's a rather small file. Thanks!

my memory is very vague about this, but isn't this executable related to spyware crap?

 tsumake Nov 8, 2004
Yes, it is. I think spyware makes a "fake" version of this file, called _wowexec.exe. Though, I kinda need the real one to run some specific programs.

It's the uncompressed size that really matters.

Aww geez... pull up your virtual pants, for christ's sake...

But it's so tiny.

Thanks you guys! It worked. I can finally use all those 16 bit programs I needed. Thanks again!
