OK, this is a bit of a weird one. Another battery-related question, I guess.
Every time I power on my Saturn these days, it asks me to set the language and date. However, all of my game saves are still completely intact, and I don't think the battery is on the way out as I just put it in there about 8 months ago. Is this a battery issue, or is there some other type of weirdness going on?

What's up with my Saturn?
Probably a battery issue, at least I would believe that. Personally I would switch the battery while the console is on, and then see if ur problem is fixed. That way u won't lose ur saves.

OR transfer them to a cart if u can, would be safer than switchin the battery while it is on.

Hmm yeah, I guess I should just stick a new battery in, but it is kind of strange that it's been doing this for two months or so with no effect on the game saves themselves.

Hmm... that doesn't sound like strictly a battery issue if your saves are really intact (test a couple). But obviously the first thing to try is replacing the battery.
