is this not one of the weirdest things ever? a genesis in the shape of a psone. I want it! |
IceDigger | Feb 7, 2002 | |||
It's real, they have a bunch of wacky things like that in Hong Kong. |
Mike G | Feb 8, 2002 | |||
Just what I always wanted! Seriously, where can you buy 'em? Mike |
Rysley | Feb 8, 2002 | |||
You can find it on Lan Kwei Trading for 25 $ http://www.lan-kwei.com/genesisE/... |

trippy ass site.... they have a vcd player in the shape of a Playstation too. |
MasterAkumaMatata | Feb 8, 2002
Yeah, it's one of the neatest sites I've come across. The prices I've seen aren't bad either. However, you have to consider that it's a Hong Kong based company, so you know what that means about shipping, right? |
Gallstaff | Feb 18, 2002 | |||
ok from what i hear all over these boards hong kong is not to be trusted... is this true? |
mal | Feb 18, 2002 | |||
I don't know about Lan Kwei Trading, but Lik Sang... are from Hong Kong and they are reliable. |
ExCyber | Feb 19, 2002 | |||
Hong Kong is just a geographical region... like any other geographical region there are dealers that are trustworthy and dealers that are not. |
SEGA DAVID | Feb 19, 2002 | |||

SEGA DAVID | Feb 19, 2002 | |||

Nimoy | Feb 19, 2002 | |||
Hmmm...I had known for quite a while that they had made the original NES in a PSOne shell like that, but this is the first I've heard of a Genesis model. |
Fabrizo | Feb 21, 2002 | |||
I saw one that looked like that sell on ebay about a week ago, it was a SNES clone though, not a Genesis one. edit: Just noticed I had a post count of 666. I feel so evil now (Edited by Fabrizo at 11:51 pm on Feb. 21, 2002) |
megametalgreymon | Feb 22, 2002
if you think thats odd try this http://assembler.roarvgm.com/Amstrad.... play megadrive games on your pc without the need for an emulator! (using the original carts) |
Fabrizo | Feb 22, 2002 | |||
That assembler site has some pretty funky stuff. Strange I never noticed the gene comp on it before... |
SEGA DAVID | Feb 25, 2002 | ||||
whoa that is pretty odd but right now i REALLY REALLY REALLY wnat a mega dc 2 add on to the dc |
megametalgreymon | Mar 1, 2002
i think it was uk (or maybe just european) only either way its very outdated now, i think its 386 based, to give you an idea of the age |
The Landstalker | Mar 4, 2002
megametalgreyman: We had the MegaPC here in Australia in about 1993. It didn't sell very well because it cost the same to buy a 486 and a Mega Drive seperately than the 386 Mega PC. I remember the commercial - a kid was playing Sonic and his business-suited dad comes in and kicks him off to work on a spreadsheet. I reckon that commerical turned most kids off the idea. |
