Viewing Daytona USA CCE .TEX files?

Is there any way of viewing the .TEX files on the Sega Saturn disk? I'm assuming these are the car textures.

You should try with the tools on the Saturn dev section :

BIT->BMP Converter : Sega Saturn CG Converter 1.0

Taktools : Takashi's image dumping tools

I'll make some tests.

My two tries, I didn't find the good palette location

It's probably stored in another file.

Thanks for your help guys. I don't have a clue about Sega Saturn files and I'm sure you have a lot of experience, if you can work out how to view them properly, it'll be very much appreciated!

What is your goal in fact ? If you want only to rip the textures you can use Saturnin or Satourne to get them.

Well........I wanted to see the other car textures, so I could reproduce them in NASCAR Racing 2003...

Ok then it's quite easy to rip them

Hello?

I thought I had answered something

Just run the game with Satourne then do :

- On game display window> Control Panel

- VDP1 texture editor > click on text in texture cache list

- Click on Dump

Hmmm, I can't seem to get Satourne to work. It loads up the BIOS screen really quickly and then it goes to the CD player screen and tells me the disk is unsuitable for the system!
