According to GameFAQs..., Victory Goal is the name of the Japanese version. The North American version is called Worldwide Soccer.

The japanese victory goals were called in US worldwide soccer and were released 1 year after they were in japan.

The original Victory Goal was called that in Europe too; the Worldwide Soccer name was used for the second instalment onwards.

Well anyway, This is a US version of victory goal. It works on US systems and it is orginal and has the sega protection band and all that. But, the disc is not labeled. It is silver on both sides. I have another one but its Pebble Beach Golf Links. I dont know what version these are, but I know they are called "Alpha" versions. They are not illegal to own or sell. Does anyone know what these might be worth?

I have the European version of it. And it is called Victory Goal. I think there is some special version of it to, with other teams and such.
