Bannerblind basically gets rid of all the banners on web pages. Very usefull indeed.

Works perfectly in Netscape 7.1 as well. Fantastic plug-in! Speeds up browsing in a lot of high traffic sites. Thanks Ice!

did you try installing it into the plugin directory on firebird? I know it took me a bit to figure out, but there is a plugin directory in the flash installer that you have to browse to for firebird.

yeah, me too, but I installed flash cause I had to get something off some site that required it. And these days I prefer to avoid using ie.

Hmm.. I installed the extension, but after testing it doesn't really seem to do anything on my system (Firebird 0.7). I think the Adblock extension works a bit better, although it's not automatic.

EDIT: Can someone point me to a page which makes BannerBlind kick in, so I can test it?
