hi all.

I have a problem to upload a bin in my par with a pc comm card:

i use both sslink and ssfexe.

With sslink i try (PAR menu started):

sslink /p0300 09 sl.bin 06004000 and the screen turned to black!!! (the bin doesn't start!!! i have try with 06001000, 06002000 and 06004000 :/ )

With ssfexe, i power on the saturn after lauching the ssfexe,

i see the progression bar, but at the end, the saturn freeze on the sega licensed logo :/ !

my hardwrae is:

- PAR action replay plus 4 in 1 EMS ver 2.01

- sega saturn model 2 modded

- PC comm card (8bit isa slot) , gamestation

Back those days, I had similar problems. The connection was not very reliable. Data sent was received corrupted. A shorter cable made it a bit better, but not much. You can verify if data is received correctly by first uploading a file, then downloading that memory region to a second file and finally comparing both with a hex editor.

yes, seems a connection problem - long/bad cables.

or if you compiled the sl.bin yourself wrong compiler/linker-settings.
