Sonic in Smash Brother's Melee?

			it writes "Yuji Naka, creator of the Sonic personage the Hedgehog, disclosed in interview to the Australian magazine Edge that the personage would have to be one of the fighters of "Super Smash Bros. Melee", but it was removed due to tempo."


I'm not sure what theu mean by the word "tempo", but it would be interesting to find out why Sonic was removed. Possibly sonic was too fast paced for the rest of the fighters?

Anyone here from Australia that can pick up a copy of Edge?

'Tempo' probably means 'time limitations'. There have been rumors about this crap for years, but if Naka really said that, I guess there must have been some validity to them.

It says that the Sonic character was removed due to lack of time.

tempo is probably a typo of the spanish word "tiempo," meaning time.

For reference, it'll never happen. Super Smash Bros. is for Nintendo-created characters only right now.

That may change, I dunno, but I doubt it...

The "Sonic in SSB:M" thing was an April Fool's joke by EGM a while back. They even had a photoshopped picture of Sonic in a Blue Bubble Shield in the game.
