Shmuppers Ahoy!

			Hi, as part of my Ph.D work i need to gather emperical data to back up various hypothosies. So i need the help of all of you out there who prefer the genre of shmups over all other types of games. 			Out of general interest, what are your hypothises? Or will that ruin your surveys? I've just recently completed my pretty dry honours level thesis and it'd be interesting to see what an interesting looking Ph.d sounds like.

			I think that it may be hard getting people to say that shmups are their FAVORITE, even amongst the shmup-o's. I like shmups a great deal, but I couldn't put them above and beyond all else, if you know what I mean.

			So far i have had 99 replies overnight. Yay! here is the data so far... I am now doing my doctor of music (Ph.D) at the queensland conservatorium of music, griffith university.

			Not my fav genre, but I do like a good shmup now and again.

			I think the proper nonmeclature is 'shmupper' rather than 'shmuper'. Of course, 'shmup-o' is preferred.
