Hi everyone!

I just tried to mod my PAL Saturn into JAP, but After all the jumpers had been successfully changed into JAP, every Saturn Game gives me "no system Disk".

So I went back to the original PAL jumpers, but still I have the "No system disk" error.

Why?

The CD playes works perfectly!

Thanks

Uh-oh sounds like a toasted saturn to me (just kidding )

check the jumpers again and refer to this link

Here's a quick guide for you To change it to Japanese mode, you must open jumpers 10 and 7 and close jumpers 11 and 6.

Uhm did you just write "PAL"

correct me if I'm wrong moderators,

I think you also need to do a 50/60 hz switch If you have a PAL system

You don't need to do the 50/60Hz mod, but many people do it as well.

Thanks guys, but at the end the problem was the CD unit. Maybe when disassembling the unit (don't ask me how) the lens settings got screwed up.

Fortunately I had another broken saturn but with the CD unit perfectly working so I frankensteinized it.
