 IceDigger Nov 10, 2001
just cd. it simply uses the 32x's cpu etc for the game.

quite crappily, i might add. the games sucked when they were on the sega CD, and the sucked when they were on the 32X CD.

IIRC, there was a game called "Fahrenheit" that was released in a SCD/32X version. My question is, are there any games that can run on a normal SCD, but will detect and use the 32X somehow if it's present?

I was wondering if it would be possible to make a Genesis cart do the same thing (detect a 32x).

would there be any point to it?

i dont recall any genesis games being "32x enhanced" or something

ExCyber...to answer your question, I believe that "Wirehead" was compatible to SCD with or without the 32x. The diference? If the 32x is being used, you get to see the video in full screen. WoopdeeFreakin'Doo, huh?
