Just wondering if u increase the power of ur laser will it make it easier to play cd-r backups? also would it effect anything besides the fact of it being able to play cd-rw?

It would probably improve the performance of backups - especially in your case - but it would likely shorten the life span of the Saturn unit. Burning games at a lower speed (ie 2x or 1x) may be equally effective in your case...

damn I put it up a bit, but my cousin was being a %^&* and turned it alot ??? man it might short out soon . I did manage to get virtua fighter booting yesterday after like 50 tries and it only worked once. Oh well at least theres still hope
