Saturn plays Audio CDs but not games

			Hey, I just bought an old Saturn, and it won't play any of the game CDs. It appears to recognize them as audio CDs (and will even play the audio tracks from the game disks). It also plays regular audio CDs just fine. But I've tried a dozen different game CDs and it won't play any of them. Anyone have any idea what's going on? Oh, and they are retail games - not copies. And as far as I know the Saturn has not been modded, but I'm not sure of that. Thanks!! Paul

			Thanks. I was afraid of that, but I figured since it was playing audio CDs that the laser must be ok. I guess that's a false assumption?

			yes it is the laser is bad you can't really do anything but send it in for repair

			try adjusting the laser intensity screw. It's the white screw below the laser lens. You'll need a small phillips screwdriver. Try adjusting it by 15 degree increments both ways, and test with audio and data cd respectively. I fixed a unit that had a same problem as yours this way.
