I only recently discovered that Sega was working on a Saturn emulator for the DC. According to "Sonic" (a Sega employee) the emuator got pretty far into completion too (75 percent complete). The prject was cancelled due to a lack of Saturn userbase.
In any case, I was wondering if anybody was actively trying to code one. I read somewhere that the SH4 that resides within the DC is fully compatible with SH2 chip which is, IMHO, a pretty good advantage when it comes to a Saturn emulating platform. |
