Saturn custom firmware?

Can't be did a custom firmware to Saturn so we can play burned games without swap trick?

Damm.. Too bad.

So it's impossible to update/replace/upgrade the saturn firmware? Is it read only? (or via homebrew?)

I use Swap Trick, but it may be damage my console..

I am also searching for a Magic Card V2 to buy. Someone knows where I can find one?

I have also other question. Can't be done via homebrew a program that can work like Magic Card, so we don't need to damage the console?

The Saturn's firmware is stored in mask ROM and can't be changed (upgradeable firmware didn't really happen in consoles until the Xbox).
