when I start my PC i get a box saying "RUNDLL"

and it states "Error Loading C:\WINDOWS\image.dll

The specified module could not be found."

I have run adaware 6.0 and spybot search and destroy and even searched for this on google with no results.. Any way to get it to cease and go away?

It sounds like it may be a good idea to reinstall windows.

i know there is a setting on XP to just install core files and save your stuff on your hd.. but I am worried about that I am not about to lost shit and back up things on dvd-rs and reinstall programs that some I dont have the .exe's for.. SOmeone out there should be able to help this problem.

In the registry, search 'image.dll' and delete the entry found in the "run at startup" tree.

Just a thought ...

Got rid of the rundll error thanks cwshredder software and a bit of googling the problem, which I tried before, but got a good page of info this time
