Retail game stores around here are expecting Nintendo to announce the gamecube price to drop to 150 around or shortly after e3.

i hope so, i dont think enough people are willing to pay 200 bucks for a gamecube when xbox and ps2 just came down as well.

I think the Gamecube could hold it's own, but may as well get a larger userbase from the drop

I don't have my own Gamecube (I go to my brothers whenever I want to play games, he's got everything), but the price drop to $150 is really looking good for me. I may fork out the money because I'm not really looking for the extra shit, I don't need to watch movies that's what my DVD player is for, I don't need to listen to music, that's what my CD player's for, I don't think I'll play games online, I just want to play games and the Gamecube is perfect for that.
