I cant help but notic that during the cut scenes of Resident Evil there are slow downs when it changes from camera angle to camera angle. This is really noticable when you are playing as jill and go into the dining room with barry. Is this a PAL only issue? or do you NTSC folk suffer the same thing?
Oh yeah, does the GC actually render those scenes?

The ntsc does have a very slight pause each time a new camea angle is loaded, but its realy nothing too noticable. As fot the gamecube rendering them, supposingly they are pre-rendered, so the system itself treats them as little more then a background image.

It's the same on the PAL version, unsurprisingly. Not too problematic (if at all), but it's quite lazy programming considering the level of polish that obviously went into the rest of the game.
