and the DS version supports the touch screen and voice recognition, you can attack the enemy with the knife that is controlled by the stylus; certain puzzles must be solved with the stylus; and sometimes you must wipe out the blood spilled on the screen with the stylus.

Does Nintendo actually have more RE games than Sony now? Let's see...
Sony:
Resident Evil
Resident Evil: Director's Cut*
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil: Nemesis
Resident Evil: Gun Survivor*
Resident Evil: CODE: Veronica Complete
Resident Evil: Gun Survivor 2: CODE: Veronica (Import)*
Resident Evil: Dead Aim (Gun Survivor 4)*
Resident Evil Outbreak*
Resident Evil Outbreak File #2*
Resident Evil 4
Nintendo:
Resident Evil 2 (N64)
Resident Evil Gaiden*
Resident Evil Rebirth*
Resident Evil Zero*
Resident Evil 2 (GameCube)
Resident Evil: Nemesis
Resident Evil: CODE: Veronica Complete
Resident Evi 4
Resident Evil
* denotes Exclusive title
Sony: 11
Nintendo: 9
If you just count the main games, Nintendo leads by one, but as a whole, Sony has two more.
Interesting if you ask me, considering how everyone believes it "belongs on a Sony platform, since it started on a Sony platform."
I didn't add RE2: Dual Shock to the Sony list, since it didn't add anything to the main game. Just the rumble feature, and the Extreme Battle Mode mini-game. RE: Director's Cut actually changed the main game a bit, so that's why I included it. |
