Region Joypad...

		Hi Are SNES joypads region specific? Iâve found a USA NTSC SNES joypad (Purple Buttons) and I want to know if it will work for my EURO PAL SNES (Uses joypad with Yellow,Blue,Red,Green buttons) or not, before I go & waste money for it? Thanks in advance.

		If the connector is the same it should work. I've never really heard of region lockouts on controllers except once in a while when they have a different connector.

		No. It won't work. Applicable anecdote: I have a US turbo pad for SNES, and brought it with me to England (I have a PAL SNES over there) several years ago. The SNES refused to respond to anything on the pad, no matter what I tried.
