Here's my question: Can you save PS1 games to PS2 Memory Cards? |

nope, you can't. You might have to format the ps2 memory card, but then you won't be able to save ps2 games on it. |

it is backwards compatible in the sense of being able to use all the old hardware and software. you just need the old hardware too. |

psx multitaps dont work on the ps2 either you cant save ps1 games on the ps2 memory cards due to the fact the game doesnt know how to talk to them |

ps2 memcard costs 30$ in usa and 45$ in europe, IIRC. |
