Need burning help.

I'm using XP so I can't use ez cd pro and any of the other adeptec/roxio programs wont read my burner. I tried to use Nero's Mixed mode, but all it did was copy the iso onto the cd and then burnt the mp3's like a music cd

What program should I use or how do I make Nero burn the data as a track and then the music afterwards.

My cd burner is a Memorex 52maxx 2452AJ

You need a cue sheet. Get Sega Cue Maker and "burn image". You'll need to select "All Files *.*" to be able to see the cue sheet.

Alternatively, you could try Fireburner which burns ISO+MP3/Wav without the need for a cue sheet.

Fireburner doesn't read my burner either

I'll look for the cue maker

Try getting ForceASPI to fix the Fireburner problems - it may help.

forceaspi didn't help with fireburner and the cue I made with sega cue maker wouldn't go on alcohol 120.

Try it with Nero...

I tried that. I guess I need help with nero. When I tried to do mixed mode, it just copied the iso file to the cd and and then burnt the mp3 tracks like a music cd.

BTW, here is the cue file

Code:

FILE "ISO.iso" BINARY TRACK 01 MODE1/2048 INDEX 01 00:00:00 POSTGAP 00:02:00 FILE "02.MP3" MP3 TRACK 02 AUDIO PREGAP 00:02:00 INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "03.MP3" MP3 TRACK 03 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "04.MP3" MP3 TRACK 04 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "05.MP3" MP3 TRACK 05 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "06.MP3" MP3 TRACK 06 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "07.MP3" MP3 TRACK 07 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "08.MP3" MP3 TRACK 08 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "09.MP3" MP3 TRACK 09 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "10.MP3" MP3 TRACK 10 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "11.MP3" MP3 TRACK 11 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "12.MP3" MP3 TRACK 12 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "13.MP3" MP3 TRACK 13 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "14.MP3" MP3 TRACK 14 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "15.MP3" MP3 TRACK 15 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "16.MP3" MP3 TRACK 16 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "17.MP3" MP3 TRACK 17 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "18.MP3" MP3 TRACK 18 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00 FILE "19.MP3" MP3 TRACK 19 AUDIO INDEX 01 00:00:00

What Curtis meant to say was try loading the cue sheet with Nero to burn. In Nero, go to File --> Burn Image... --> locate and load your cue sheet. If you're using an up-to-date version of Nero, there should be a filter for *.NRG, *.ISO and *.CUE files.

Thx. That seemed to work. I can't actually see the music tracks in explorer, but my computer reads the cd at 240mb, where when I did the iso by itself, it was 230. I can't test it on my saturn because my Mod-chip hasn't arrived from Lik-sang yet.

Thx for your help

Don't forget to change the country code of the ISO first before burning if you don't have a Japanese Saturn.

With a mixed mode disc, your computer is not supposed to see the audio tracks as files in Explorer. You can play them starting from the second track just like an audio CD though.

Also, you could also rig your Saturn up for the swap trick to play CD-R games. The thing is, are you up to the challenge?

I have an Action replay 4-1 cart. Should handle any region issues.
