Hello I have recently bought a new jap Mega CD 2 and I use an Atari Jaguar power supply (same for the MD) for it. The problem is that it does not power up. I've read some emails regarding a similar problem and I assume that it's has to do with a broken fuse but can this be considering that sometimes when I power up the MD the MCD2 led lights up for half a second? I mean if the fuse is broken then how can a the led light up even for half a second? Could it be that the power supply is good enough for the MD but not powerful enough for the MCD2?
The specs are:
Output: 9V - 1.2A 10.8VA

Even if a fuse is burned, that doesn't mean that the led light wont turn on.
Try to find the exact Input specs of the MCD2 before you start using a hybrid power supply. They should match.
Another thing is that in Japan I think they use 110V. If in your country they use 220V, then you've burned the power supply.
