Is anyone interested?

Not particularly, If I feel like playing any of those games ill just pop NesterDC into my Dreamcast. I also own them for NES, but I prefer to play them on DC (no flickering red light).

I think thats pretty cool actually... pity I don't have a PC to play it on

I hope they use decent emulation as too often games like this suffer from really sloppy ports... *cough* Smash Pack *cough*

Doesn't Smash Pack also use an emu? The games aren't ported (except Virtua Cop).

IMNSHO, there are two things vitally flawed with this "collection:

1) It's missing games that should really be there, most notably Contra 3: The Alien War and Super Castlevania 4.

2) The Contra games are the NES versions rather than the arcade versions. The arcade versions have much better graphics/music and play smoother than the NES ports.

Both of these suggest that they just licensed an NES emulator and included what that would allow them to, instead of making an effort to provide a complete product.

And Virtua Fighter 2, Sonic R, Panzer Dragoon and Sonic 3d.

Seems strange that this half-hearted collection is coming out when most of the target market (people into the classics) will already be well aware of the necessary emus they can get for free. It is nice to see a company proud of it's past though, as Konami should well be.
