 Pearl Jammzz Jun 25, 2004

 racketboy Jun 25, 2004
I raced my old Chevette once with my friends

 mal Jun 25, 2004
Street racing is bad, but I am a bit of a lead boot in my fully sick Corolla.

 racketboy Jun 26, 2004

c'mon man ! there is no rush like SPEED rush. :devil

me and my 61' VW beetle. (heavy duty clutch, bosch distributor, weber twin carburetors, modified 40 heads, racing exhaust system and other goodies)

got speed?

I ocassionally raced with a friend with my old mazda 323.... He had a chevrolet sprint.... I used his car once to race a chevrolet alto....

Now I just wander alone... still love to move a bit fast in colombian streets

The only people I've raced on purpose are my friends. They have crappy cars, so it wasn't hard to win even though I lack any significant power. I drive an '87 Caprice Classic Brougham with the carburated 305, but that'll beat a ford escort pretty handily.

I still don't have a car. I'm going to buy my neighbor's Ford Escort when they put it up for sale in a couple months, they only want 100 bucks for it. It works fine, they think all the cosmetic problems make it worthless.

never street raced... but back road race/demolition derby with my buddies all the time in beat up cars and fuck shit up. I've rolled, smashed into trees, almost ran into canals, spun out, almost smashed between several cars all weird like going 90, in this beat up 87 mustang. Damn i miss that mustang.

The roll was the best, picture maxing the fucking car out at 95 down a dirt road for a mile and a half and the just cutting the wheel left (the road did a complete 90 degree turn at the end) and just rolling over completely and then back up onto the passenger side. smashing into a huge dirt mound as my best buddy has his window down and is holding himself up away from the ground and dirt spitting in through the window.

The car was so bad ass that we climbed out the rear window and just rolled it back over and continued driving.

Oh but i gotta get pics of what we did to my buddy sam's car, cut the fucker up with chainsaws: doors, roof, hood. and drove the fucker into anything in site. Filmed it all too.

I've been a good boy since i got a $515 speeding fine a few years ago...

 VertigoXX Jul 13, 2004
It isn't a matter of the car's power... All that matters is the driver's skillz.

Yeah, and an inch or a mile, a win is a win. Oh, and don't granny shift when you should double clutch. Yeah.

 finty101 Jul 13, 2004
I prefer motorbikes.

and don't double clutch when you don't have tires to deal the extra speed on curves

 IceDigger Jul 14, 2004
It's cool when your car squeals the tires at 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 on an automatic

Gotta love the shift kit and vigilante torque converter

These stock tires just are not cutting it anymore.

Beat my first WRX Impreza the other day thanks to those 2 upgrades I did recently. The guy was a little upset when I told him I had one of the slowest corvettes you could buy but he was cool.

205hp/300tq stock, now ???hp/???tq

 Alexvrb Jul 14, 2004
L99? You plan on doing more upgrades?

 IceDigger Jul 14, 2004
L83 actually. Next upgrade would probably be headman headers or 1.6rr.

Mods so far:

X-Ram, hypertech chip, gutted cat, flowmaster exhaust, raptor 700r4 transmission, shift kit, vigilante 2600 torque converter, cold air intake, and a 85 fuel pump

No engine work done.

Here that work would cost a fortune...

My master plan is to work for half year to get a datsun 240z. Then restore it and see wich upgrades I can afford.
