What's the main difference(s) between the three and which would you recommend above the others?

Thanks in advance, as always.

I've been under the impression that Gens was the best all-around

I think the other two have fallen behind

I always use Gens for all my Genesis/SegaCD/32X needs

Note: I don't know if it is just me, but MTXBlau's avatar isn't showing up..

No, it's me.

I graduated from the big U, and they killed my webspace (finally). Badge of honor I guess. I'll fix it shortly.

So there isn't any reason to prefer AGES or Kega over Gens?

Yeah, Gens is usually considered to be the best, but Kega's pretty solid too, it's just that it doesn't get updated as often.

I always had trouble getting AGES to run any Sega CD games correctly, and the last time I tried it (a couple of years ago), I decided that it was way too unpolished for my taste.

I think Ages is the least developed of the three. I haven't heard of an update from them for ages (no pun intended )

why do u think ages is the best developed?
