ive been thinking about getting one of these to play my NES games on the road. Anyone have one, or know how long they last on batteries or if they have any other issues? thanks.

I've heard that they're not built extremely well, and heard one or two horror stories about people getting units that look like they've been abused (e.g. scratched screen). Aside from that I haven't heard of any major gripes. Keep in mind though that its connector is a Famicom one, so you'd need an adapter to play NES games.

yeah, it comes with the pin adapter if you get it from lik-sang, which is the best deal i can find anyway.

Did you land up getting it?

I'd love to know your thoughts on it...

Ive been thinking of getting one for a while, but i havent yet. I think im going to put it off more. I was also thinking of possibly getting a GBA, and the flash cart for the emulator since i kinda want to be able to play GBA and game boy games too. dont quite have the money for either option yet though.

Personally I'd go with the GBA and the flash linker w/ 256 meg cart, its an excellent deal, plus you can fit about 8 or so 32 meg games on the cart. just think of having a mario collection cart at your disposal!

I need to get a NES...

the only problem, is that after the adapter, and the nes cart are hooked up, its sticks realy far out, and its easy to knock the game out by any motions.
