Something funny happened yesterday : I died together with the last ennemy in the scene just before the elevator scene, and this scene started, even if nobody played anymore ! I could see the elevators going up and down, and the advice "push left or right", and "Game Over" appeared only after the end of the scene. Funny, eh ?
