Hm.. Golden Axe for me, but TMNT is very tempting...

I'm pretty sure I may be missing one or two...

Streets of Rage 2 is the pinnacle of 2d beat 'em up enlightenment.

SoR2 is overrated...

Cloud, why do you open a poll like this and then argue with people when they express their different, yet equally valid, opinion?

I dunno...

I just hate it when people don't agree with me....

I'm a very opiniated person....

Ninja Turles, but Double Dragon has a soft spot in my heart too.

I never got exposed much to Streets of Rage when I was growing up.

That's not an option. It should be though. Also, since he said "series" that would include the older arcade D&D beat 'em up too. So I second your vote. I wish I could remember the name of it...

*casts Sticks to Snakes just for the hell of it*

TMNT. You may have gotten only thirty minutes of play out of them but it never felt boring to play it over and over again.

I never played Streets of Rage growing up. For me it was a toss between Golden Axe and Double Dragon. Both games I played tons of growing up. I ended voting for Golden Axe.

Yeah! That's the one. I spent many a quarter on that one. The Lich was a PITA sometimes. They should make more D&D arcade-style games, the closest thing I found recently was D&D Heroes, and that was like OK, the first time through. With 4 people. It's just horrible without other players.

But there's always pen(cil) and paper, even if Wizards made some things about it needlessly complicated with 3.0/3.5. The "d20 system" indeed.

There's always King of Dragons, an older, yet similar Capcom game. The cleric sprite is too sweet.

As Golden Axe completely owns Streets of Rage...

And I would completely own you in VF....

But it isn't a series, ya?

I see this line a lot, but I think the fact of the matter is, you wouldn't own anyone in Virtua Fighter. Except me, because I'm not very good.

Nonsense Mountaindud. He's owned himself plenty of times.
