After some trial and error with modding a 32 pin Saturn, I've found that the problem with my saturn is related to it's CD Drive. While I don't have originals to test with, I do have music CDs. When played in the Saturn, the disc spins and the laser moves about 3 times before giving up. Help is greatly appreciated.
Edit: I've seen in other threads that people had similar trouble, and fixed the problem by adjusting the focus dial on the back of the drive. However, the original setting of the dial didn't allow the Saturn to read anything.
Could someone be so kind to open their saturn and tell me their position of the dial?
Edit: I've tried all sorts of positions for this and nothing has allowed the Saturn to read the Disc. |
