Hello all, I recently replaced the battery in my Dreamcast yet it still asks for the date and time upon every boot up. I also replaced the capacitor next to the battery and installed a new ribbon cable that connects the controller board to the mainboard. Still asks for the date and time. Is there anything else I should be looking at?

Make sure the positive (+) and the negative (-) polarity is correct on the controller board. If the time and date still doesn't save, then it could either down to the capacitor or the resistor.
