Disk Cleanup

I ran disk cleanup in win XP Pro.. and while it was running my PC suddenly just restarted on its own.. chck disk found about a million error... and when the pc finally booted to windows disk cleanup was gone...

I dunno what to do about it.. If i put the xp disk in and restart and chose repair windows do u think it will correct most of the problems that occured from this odd incident??

have you ever tried to do the "repair windows" thing? Doesn't it just open up a console for you to give it commands?
