DC mod chip?

		The geeks in Hong Kong are selling a "modded DC" for USD$99. I don't get it. Unlike the Saturn, my US version of DC plays CDRs and presumeably foreign games out of the box with no mod. What is the MOD chip for in a DC?

		No need for boot disc to play authentic import titles?

		but so far I've been able to play all CDRs, foreign and domestic, without a MOD chip... So what does it do? Why would I need one?

		The chip enable original GDROM from other regions than yours to be played. If your´re going to play only cdr games or originals from you region then no need for a chip.
