| No need for boot disc to play authentic import titles? | |||

| but so far I've been able to play all CDRs, foreign and domestic, without a MOD chip... So what does it do? Why would I need one? | |||

| The chip enable original GDROM from other regions than yours to be played. If your´re going to play only cdr games or originals from you region then no need for a chip. | |||
