Cost of scrap iron

			At work we have about 12 bases that were used as bag holders. They are solid iron and weigh about 20lbs each. I have no idea what the average price for scrap cast iron is however. I know that some metals go for like 2 bucks per 100lbs. If iron is the same way then its not worth my trouble but it its more along the lines of 20-30 cents a lb then I may consider taking it.

			I doubt it's worth your time.

			Scrap is worth a lot more now than it was a few years ago, but even still, steel is worth 5 cents a pound around here and cast iron almost certainly less. You're looking at $12 max, hardly worth the time and effort.
