Yes. I think you might need to mod the system casing around the cart slot a bit too, but I don't remember.

Also, is there any software that can patch games for possible regional problems?

Not that I know of. It's not too hard to patch by hand in most cases if you know a bit of 68K assembly, though. Is there a particular game you're interested in? |
