Broken LED cable

Hello! I went ahead and opened up my sega Genesis Model 1, and my stupid self happened to have broken the Red cable that is connected to the red power LED bulb. What do i do to fix, or replace it?

Soldering will do the trick but if the LED's pins are totally disconnected then you have to replace it

Ok... My dad has a soldering iron, what kind of solder should I use?

and, by replacing it, do you mean replace the genesis unit itself... or just the led unit itself? like, where do I find a replacement incase my soldering experiment fails?
