Best Mod Chip....

			Hi What is the best, most stable & compatible PS-2 Mod chip for V9 (50004) PS-2s? Out of the three: Mars Messiah 2 DMS3 V9 ??? I want to install a chip that wonât cause my PS-2 to blow up.

			I use the magic 3. Universal modchip. You just need to have a steady hand while soldering the 22 points

			the magic series is extremely buggy. messiah 2, sniper 2 and dms are good.

			duo, dms or messiah 2 (make sure its a 2).

			I was told by someone who installs PS-2 Mod chips, that the Messiah 2 is more stable & reliable than the DMS3 V9. He said that there were cases in which the installed DMS3, after some time caused the PS-2 controller chip (where some of the wires of the chip are soldered on), to burn. Also, is it best to solder the wires on the pins of the controller chip, or in the back of the PCB board that connects to the pins from the back? It looks easier to solder the wires on the board rather than the pins which are very thin & close to each other, but I've heard that soldering on the board while cause damage after some time? So itâs best to solder on the chip pins even though itâs riskier. Any feed back will be highly appreciated! Thanks.
