Best Japanese Saturn cover art
racketboy - Dec 5, 2003

I started a similar thread over at NintendoXtreme... in reguards to NES carts, but I wanted to know what your favorite pieces Japanese Saturn cover art is. I'm asking for Japanese because they traditionally look way cooler than their American/PAL counterparts.

All the Street Fighter games are obvious favorites for me particularly XMvSF.

Radiant Silvergun also comes to mind.

Include pics if you can

Hmm, Shining Force 3 scenario 1 is pretty cool. I don't have a pic of it handy though.

I don't know if I can make a choice by category but I'd say :

- Baroque for adventure game

- Azel Panzer Dragoon for RPG

- Thunder Force 5 for shoot them up

- Drift King 97 for racing game

well it doesn't have to be just one

just list your favorites without naming a ton

the cover to Shining The Holy Ark in Jap looks better than the US...the us art looks like some kiddie game.

Ooops.

Sorry.

I didn't notice the "saturn"

I have a friend who always wanted to draw a picture of the characters from shining the holy ark... erm... "Shining" the "Holy Ark". I guess car wash style or something lol.

Edit: wow, just noticed I'm over 1000 posts finally lol.

X-Men COTA and VF remix are my favs. Great inside manual art too.

I've seen two versions of SF vs Marvel for sale. One is being sold as "Capcom vs Street Fighter" (yes, for the saturn!)

Is this just a cheap sales tactic? or a mistake in translation? or a totally different game?

mistake in translation...

wow that's a neat one

what kind of game is that?

This is the best image of JUNGLE PARK I could find with Googlez:

http://www.ncsx.com/ncs0202/jungpark.htm...

But please note: My game doesn't have the stickers (circle on right side) and when the spine card is removed... it's just a big ol blocky MONKEY FACE!

Hillarious. Great game too! I am putting it on my website of best underrated sega games.

I have an iso of it, tried it for 5 minutes, but erm... I didn't get it lol so I haven't tried it since.
