what are the current best emulators for all the cart-based systems? i'm way out of the loop and would love some guidance.

sega master system -

NES -

genesis -

super nintendo -

turbo grafx 16 -

game boy -

game gear -

virtual boy -

32X -

N64 -

game boy color -

Well I think Gens is the best Genesis Emu, it works perfectly on my system even on the highest quality settings.

For the master system i use Meka and for the GG I use Kega. There is most likely a better alternative to those now, as there are only a few games I want emulated on those two.

For the snes I use ZSnes

Zsnes....

Snes9x... is well known, but the sound emulation is poor.

(watch the opening to Chrono Trigger with it, Ugh)

SNEeSe... has the most accurate (& Best) sound of any Snes emulator, but the lowest compatibility. (out of Zsnes & Snes9x)

what about smygb (kinda 1998/99) that was a great GBC emu!

i still have it and would be willing to email it to anyone that wants to try it!
