After Seven Years of VF...

I just lost to a total newbie! I've never lost to a human opponent in my seven years of VF! I think I'm about to enter a state of depression... I beat him the next fight (sweet sweet revenge), but even now I am in absolute shock! I've been playing Sarah for six years, and I know all her moves! WHY DID I LOSE TO A NEWBIE??!?!??!?! ARGH!!!! Excuse me while I go cry some more...

Was this on VF4: Evo as Sarah needs quite a bit of re-learning to play well in this version

No it wasn't on Virtua Fighter Evolution, it was on VF4. Travis had only played VERY little VF on a couple past visits to my house. He knows VERY FEW of Kage's moves. We down to the final round, (Round 9), and I hit him with my best juggle. I must've been a couple frames back too far, as I just BARELY missed my pounce. Then he got up, and kicked me before I could hit the block button. That was last night, and I'm STILL in shock. Bah...

don't worry everyone makes mistakes. i whooped my friends ass in every fighter he owned for dreamcast the first time i picked up the controller. its all about observation if you see how someone fights you can pick em apart. even if all you know how to do is knock em down and power up and do that crushing sword hits ground move really fast with nightmare in soul calibre. and i forget who i used in sf3... but yeah don't be too shocked.

My brother really annoys me on VF. Most of the time I beat him as he doesn't really like VF, but sometimes he uses Lau or Lei Fei and button bashes out a victory usually if I'm a throw based character .

If that happens I just pick Kage for the next fight and annihilate him

I often get Cheap-O'd at Super Smash Bros.: Melée early on in matches... though I usually come back with a 2:1 kill ratio =)

VF revolution isn't out yet is it? I also heard it was going to be 20 bucks, when it does come out... hope its true... wooooo hoooo

Its out in Europe and Japan already.

Here in the UK we have to pay full price for it, but I managed to get in £10-15 cheaper then what most shops are selling it at.

I was always a Street Fighter addict (addict is the word- I used to go to the arcade EVERY day after school, even after I got it on my Megadrive and Snes), and the first time I played VF came as a shock.

I was with this girl I really liked then , and I played her, she beat me, I felt humiliated man. I played her again twice and she just button bashed the hell out of me, I felt so bad again as she laughed. I was only 16. At that moment I cursed the inventors of 3d games and swore to be a 2d fan for life.

Yeah, today I went to go buy VF Evolution (I walked into GameStop the second they opened!), and they didn't have it. I asked Chris and he said "Well, no one reserved it, and you know how expensive overnight shipping is," I agreed, but was a little upset, as I had got up VERY EARLY, so I could be the first one to own Evolution. Chris said that they would've gotten a shipment in if someone had reserved it. I WAS going to reserve it , when I last went in last week, but I decided not to, because I realized, "VF doesn't have that big of a following, let alone a broad fanbase in Des Moines," so I decided not to reserve it, but I'm kicking myself now for not doing so. I'm gonna go back in tomorrow, and check again. Then again, I'd rather have it tomorrow anyway, as a couple friends of mine came over today, and I want ABSOLUTE peace for when I play Evolution. If you ever meet me in person, you'll know how TRULY hardcore of a VFer I am.

did you check Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and all those places?

ahhhh, dylan just a lil boy riding on his bicycle in the rain holding his VF Evo high in the air with a grin of satisfaction standing unafflicted by the rain tearing at his face...

isnt it cuuuuute, the thought runs through my head to get out of my car, go over and shaking his hand for being such a heroic, devoted, mailmanesc (through rain sleet and hail) VF fan... nah ill just splash him with the puddle coming up in the road

i than reach my head out the window and scream "YOU STOLE MY Fing NAME YOU BASTARD." roll it back up and drive off satisfied he has no idea what the statement really means all though it was so blunt and obvious... there is only room enough in this world for one Dylan the all mighty SEGA fan.

I just picked up Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution at EB.

Just a heads up for those in the US who have been waiting for this.

Yeah well, look who has the higher post count, and the longer membership You damn right I'm heading to GameStop tomorrow, so I can get there the second they open like today.

Oh yeah, and what does mailmanesc mean? And I ride my bike because I'm too lazy to get my damn license, then get a damn car. Sure, get some looks from the morons at school, but hey, at least I'll actually be buying my car (unlike them) once I get it (that is..... should I ever get one )
