Just wondering if you can use the Action Replay to capture "screenshots" from the Saturn? Video frame buffer dumping?

Thanks.

There is no framebuffer on Saturn that corresponds to the actual display. VDP2 is in many ways an old-school VDP and generates the display on-the-fly by combining multiple layers (some of which are generated on-the-fly themselves from tile/pattern data).

Have not tried that, what is it?

I'm looking to get an ARP and thought screenshots would be cool. I recently tweaked my Xbox out with a debug BIOS and started using XIG to capture in-game screenshots, I'm hooked on screenshots now!

Its Charles McDonald's VDP1 Framebuffer Viewing Utility. It (quoting from his website) "Downloads data from the Saturn and creates a screenshot of the display."
