A question about SCD Model 1

I got a Sega CD Model 1 and when I want to play a game it continues rejecting the CD ( it happens with originals, CDRs and Music ) . The Access light blinks all the time ( after power on the Genesis and even before I put a CD ) . Could it be a loosen connector or the laser itself ?

you could try cleaning the cd lens.. use a cleaning cd, or open it up and wipe it very carefully with a q-tip.

also remove all ribbon cables and plug them back in.

if it still doesn't work, the laser is shot.
