my weird ass saturn has jumpers on both sides like i said before.
there is no hole on the other side of the saturn for JP1 and so whatever is covering it has become fucked up when i was soldering.
my 50/60hz switch seems to work ok but on the cd player screen the balls are out of shape!!
so i've got the swtich but its cost my saturn a testicle.
wtf is going on and what have i done...?!?!

looks like it had something to do with the way i was testing it.
when i reasembled the saturn properly there were no problems where as previously i just connected the components as required rather than completely screw everything back in etc.
